Automated Drying Chamber Control System

To address the challenge of controlling industrial drying chambers, we developed a hardware and software system that ensures precise regulation of temperature, humidity, and heat uniformity during the drying process.

The system architecture is based on Mitsubishi Electric equipment, providing exceptional reliability, flexibility, and scalability. A touchscreen operator panel integrated with the controller serves as the human-machine interface, managing process control and communication with sensors and actuators.

Main Control Loops

  • Temperature control:
Actuators — air heater valves or heating elements.
Control signals — air temperature sensors.
  • Humidity control:
Actuators — exhaust fan louvers and water/steam injection nozzles.
Control signals — air humidity sensors and wood moisture probes.
  • Heat distribution control:
Actuators — multiple circulation fans with independent control.

Using Mitsubishi Electric FX5U / FX3G controllers and GOT2000 operator panels, the system provides reliable performance under high-temperature and humidity conditions, supports data logging, remote monitoring,
and adaptation for various chamber types — from small laboratory units to large multi-zone installations.
